News & Events from Nova Vita

First of all, we just want to thank every man (almost 100 of you) who came out for the very 1st Men in Heels: Standing Tall Against Domestic Violence walk on Saturday, June 18th. We also want to thank everyone who sponsored these men, those who helped plan/sponsor/volunteer/contribute/participate/support the event - it was a huge success.

Not only did we have A LOT of fun, but some great things were said about our organization from key leaders in the community and almost $12,000 was raised for Nova Vita! We continue to walk towards a domestic-free lifestyle in the City of Brantford and the County of Brant and you all are a huge part of that.

It was busy morning and we were happy to “take over” Harmony Square by heel! : )

Some of Brantford’s finest (truly) showed their support and we all couldn’t stop commenting on how well they had coordinated their outfits! haha

Chris Friel declared the fountain in Harmony Square “wading friendly” for 30 minutes after the walk - poor gents needed to soak their aching feet!

Love this, Dave Carrol won Mr. Congeniality and man, did he work it!
